On Saturday July 15th we had our first WRA end of the year picnic in over 3 years. We had about 20+ people show up to socialize and play.
The whole purpose of this event is to give players the opportunity to play, connect, and reflect. This community is very important to me and I am honored to be a part of organizing events like this. I want to thank Ken Celmer for bringing the ice cream (+ extra liquid refreshments), Fran Davis for supplying the HEAD Penn Red ballistic racquetballs, everyone that showed up, and also the patience of the handball players that were present.
If you enjoyed playing outdoors and want to continue, there is a group that plays at West Fenwick on Wednesday evenings after 4 PM. They are a great group of guys. I look forward to seeing you on the court this coming season. We are slowly growing and I expect this to continue. The credit goes to you all that play, support, and spread the word.
